This Song is Copyrighted!
I recently used this song in a You Tube Video, and their computer nailed it as belonging to IODA. You can use the song but an ad will appear below the video. I don't know who this IODA is, but they seem to own the rights to a number of these old songs!

Film Credits
Hi! I am planning to use this in my film. How should I credit this piece ?
Also, only musical pieces before 1923 are in the public domain per US copyright. Works between 1923-1977 are public domain if no one bothered to copyright them.

Usage?
Hi there,
This is a wonderful piece, and ideal for a film I m currently working on. We have absolutely no budget for sound, so I though this could be a good place to come for music. Just wondering if you could confirm that this piece is public domain and free for use in film and TV? We are not expecting to make mega bucks off our film, but I'd hate to get caught out!
